Try as I might, I could not get away from the idea that the most fun way to interpret this week’s prompt would be the obvious.
Nicky was a good sport, jumping off the playground equipment repeatedly. In the rain. Just so his mom could get a good shot.
He said, “It’s a lot more fun than doing homework!”
So I took him for hot chocolate and a pumpkin scone at Starbucks to push off the homework a little longer say thanks.
One must always pay one’s models, no?
